Dr. Preet Goraya Joins Orb Health as Chief Operating Officer

RICHARDSON, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Orb Health announced today that it has hired Preet Goraya, MD, MBA, to oversee Medical Operations that service the exploding demand for its virtual Chronic Care Management service. As COO, he leads the implementation and management of care delivery through Orb’s innovative services that expands the care capacity of FQHCs/CHCs, Health Systems, and ACOs through scalable virtual services for reimbursed Medicare codes such as Chronic Care Management and more resulting in significant improvements in chronically ill patient outcomes while increasing value-based care profitability.

Dr. Goraya’s 15+ years’ experience as a highly effective executive in healthcare and insurance operations and his background and education in medicine combine to drive unprecedented results in primary care, telehealth, and remote clinical care execution. His previous work at RSA Medical saw him build a remote care delivery center with over 500 providers (acquired by Xerox). At Southcoast Health, he oversaw $1.2 billion in charges as part of annual revenue cycle management. He holds a MD from Medical University of America, and an MBA from the Mendoza Business School at University of Notre Dame. Dr. Goraya currently resides outside of Dallas, TX.
